INCREASING YOUR CAPACITY FOR GOD’S PROVISION
Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes." Isaiah 54:2 (NIV)
Dear Christian Entrepreneur,
As we navigate our path as Christian entrepreneurs, we often balance faith with action. Picture a farmer who desires a plentiful harvest but neglects to prepare the soil. Similarly, God urges us to make space for His abundant blessings.
Reflect on the widow’s story in 2 Kings 4:1-7. When Elisha asked her, "What do you have in your house?" she mentioned a jar of oil. It wasn’t until she began pouring the oil into empty vessels that God multiplied it. This story reminds us that God calls us to expand our vision and capacity, to stop living small and to prepare for His provision.
How to Build Your Capacity
Reflect on Your Current State:Evaluate your mindset and actions. Are you operating within your comfort zone? Identify any self-imposed limitations that might be hindering your growth.
Set Bold Goals and Expand Your Vision:After identifying areas for growth, set ambitious yet achievable goals. Imagine possibilities beyond your comfort zone and embrace the challenges of stepping into the unknown.
Take Action with Faith and Courage:Turn your vision into action by breaking down goals into manageable steps. Approach these steps with determination and trust in a higher purpose, letting go of the fear of failure.
By reflecting on your state, setting bold goals, and acting with faith, you can respond to God's call to expand your capacity and live a more fulfilling life.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, grant us the courage to step out of our comfort zones and embrace growth. Help us recognize the potential You’ve placed within us and bless our efforts. May we create space for the abundance You desire to bring into our lives. Amen.
